Overview
Lead UI/UX developer This is an exciting new role as a Lead UI/UX developer based in Wallingford. The company has built a SaaS platform that enables organisations to increase asset/component reliability, reduce maintenance cost and reduce equipment downtime, through the effective application of data science and big data tech. This opportunity is for an experienced UI/UX professional who can build new product capabilities and rethink the application's existing user experience with a view to identify, design and implement more effective means of communicating information to users. This is critical to extend the product's reach to a wider user base and a growing list of clients. Key skills: The ability to visually, and succinctly, express complex data patterns and trends A solid (any of: web/front-end/fullstack) development experience is a must. No particular JS framework required A good eye for design is essential, however, the candidate doesn't need to be a professional designer to tick this box Experience in data analytics & visualisation, particularly in a B2B setup, would be beneficial A track record of taking features from inception, through design and all the way to successful delivery Familiarity with SaaS application development, cloud technologies and continuous deployment are nice-to-have but not essential. We love these practices and will support colleagues to learn and adopt them This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate would have the opportunity to demonstrate thought leadership on usability & UI best practice and hugely influence the look & feel of the product as well as the other channels through which the company presents itself to the world.
