Overview
Dealing with in excess of 1000 tax returns each year my client is growing and as a direct result are looking to increase the headcount in their tax team with the recruitment of a Tax Assistant & Tax Senior into personal tax into their offices in Gosforth, Newcastle. This presents a wonderful opportunity for those already working in personal tax compliance looking for a fresh challenge as well as those with limited exposure looking for an environment that will nurture learning. Whether this is a second move in your career or simply looking for a change to your existing portfolio these roles offer the chance to work in a compliance team with some interesting clients and technica exposure. We are looking for either a part qualified ATT or qualified ATT tax professional who has a minimum of one (for Tax Assistant) or two years (Tax Senior) experience completing personal tax returns. You will be part of the private client tax team working alongside your colleagues with support from both the Tax Manager and Partner. With your own portfolio you will complete tax returns for Directors and Partnerships, chasing documents, assisting with queries, liaising with HMRC and providing basic tax advice. Contact with clients will be daily predominantly over the telephone. More support and training will be given to the Tax Assistant Individual until comfortable with the full role.
