Overview

With a growing number of tenants, providing accurate data surrounding Service Charges is increasingly important, and this role will be fundamental in supporting that function. As the Assistant Service Charge Accountant, You will report to the Service Charge Accounting Manager. The role involves: Taking complex raw data and manipulating it to create meaningful, useful information regarding service charges Responding to internal queries and requests for information, using your analysis of financial information to allow tenants to be kept well informed of their position surrounding service charges Assisting with service charge accounting by creating estimates, actuals and variance analysis Reconciling accounts and the balance sheet to keep an accurate reflection of the state of the organisation's service charge position Providing core accounting functions such as posting journals, prepayments and accruals, and general ledger maintenance, gradually taking on more and more responsibility as time goes on to grow in your finance career.
