Overview
Our client is the UK's leading leisure management operator. With sustained growth and development plans, they are now looking to appoint for the exciting position of an operations manager at their leading site in Wembley. Major Goal: To ensure the facility and colleagues provide a quality customer experience. Job Description: ·Work with HOD’s to implement income generating ideas through communication and promotion of our product. ·Identify cost control actions in payroll, chemicals and energy ·Influence banking and financial compliance with the help of the Finance Manager ·Take appropriate action when identifying faults and hazards ·Achieve standards described in Operations manuals and Ops Compliance Plan ·Ensure Daily Operational Checklists are completed for all shifts and sign off inspection ·Chair the Quest Improvement Team and contribute to Quality measures Deliver a customer experience that generates customer compliments. ·Deliver a customer experience that generates customer compliments ·Have knowledge of Facility programme and develop the Ops teams knowledge and ability to handle enquiries ·Coach and develop colleagues to facilitate their promotion ·Undertake Personal Development plan as necessary ·Undertake Training as required. ·Recruit and Select for the Ops Team ·Co-ordinate and the induction and ongoing training for the Ops Team ·Motivate the team through a reward and recognition team The ideal candidate will need to have an NPLQ and Current Pool Plant qualification is essential. IOSH and TA desirable. Health and Safety knowledge desirable, although not essential as training will be given.
