Overview
A well-established Independent Wealth Manager is seeking to recruit a Portfolio Manager ojn the upward curve of their career to work within their continually growing US Family Office Division. This role will involve managing the asset allocation of US client portfolios in line with their specific risk profile and investment mandate, in accordance with the in-house investment strategy. Long term there will be a good degree of client contact in support of the Wealth Managers running their clients, whether helping pitch for new business, consolidate existing clients or general client reporting. The investment strategy is focused on direct investment rather than collectives so experience within an individual Stock and Bond picking environment would be strongly preferred. Successful candidates will be experienced in Managing Portfolios without supervision, taking responsibility for trading, managing and re-balancing Portfolios to keep them within appropriate parameters. They will be experienced in dealing with HNW clients with investments typically between £5m and £20m, invested in a variety of different assets. Given the nature of the client base and the overseas tax implications, offshore client experience would be of great value, although there is the opportunity to up-skill within the job and become sector experts. Candidates as well as having the appropriate experience will be CFA approved and RDR compliant. They are a highly entrepreneurial company seeking someone motivated and committed.
