Overview
Working for a worldwide organisation, who is the market leader within their sector. Due to this exciting period of growth we are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join this well-established finance team. Paying a salary up to GBP24,000 plus excellent benefits. Working hours Monday - Friday 8.30-5.30PM based out of the Head Office near Wilmslow. Responsibilities & Duties: · Working in a team of 3 Accounts Assistants, reporting to the Banking Team Leader · Processing bank postings for all bank accounts for c140 companies accurately and in a timely manner · Posting credit card transaction accurately and reconciling to statements · Reconciling all bank accounts daily/weekly as required · Ensuring bank payments are made on time and accurately · Dealing with payment/bank accounts queries · Processing quarterly investor return bank payments · Providing information and support to other departments in the business, as required Experience and skills · The ideal candidate will: · AAT qualified or training towards would be preferable · Have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role either Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Bank Reconciliations · Possess excellent communication skills · Highly organised with the ability to prioritise · Have strong attention to detail · Able to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements · Have worked in a high volume, multi-company environment · Have knowledge of Sage 50 About the Benefits: · 22 days holiday rising to 23 in the calendar year following 1 year service and an additional day each year thereafter up to max of 25 days · Salary between GBP22-24,000 DOE · Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.30PM · Christmas - New Year shut down in addition to holiday entitlement · Workplace pension · Cycle 2 Work scheme · Free parking on site · On site restaurant · Regular social events To Apply If this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV to us today We aim to respond to all successful applications within 2 days.
