Overview

Our client, a leading Manufacture within the home industry have an opportunity for an experienced Head Office Accounts Assistant to join their modern offices and friendly team in a busy environment The role will report to the Head Office accountant. The role is required to manage a number of key accounting, purchasing, banking and miscellaneous tasks in relation to the Head Office Accounts of the company. Role Detail Accounting in Sage: Nominal Ledger to Trial Balance including Prepayment, Fixed Assets and Investment revaluation. Purchase Ledger: Processing invoices; getting invoice authorised and paid. Group Inter-Company Recharges: Reconciliation of recharge accounts, raising debit/credit notes, agreeing balances with subsidiaries, processing debit/credits received, posting onto SAGE Daily Bank Balance: Update Daily bank balances workbook with bank system data every morning Bank Reconciliations: Weekly bank reconciliations of all main banks and monthly on smaller bank accounts. Resolving unknown payments and receipts Credit Control: Invoicing property tenants and credit control P11D's: Annual P11D's for head office/Trustees and Nx Adhesives Payments: Cheque/BACS/CHAPS and International Payments (Including payments to HMRC and Pension Payment, monthly payments of all rates). Payment of Rents and Service charges due. Ad-hoc payments. National Statistics: Collection of data from relevant subsidiaries and completion and return of forms. Group Reporting: Production of Group Weekly Sales and Group Weekly Borrowings reports, preparation and review of Group month-end reports, capex and energy reports. Other: Weekly Back up and audit trails of Sage. General admin duties inc. photocopying and printing and Group phone Assistance with year-end and interim reporting
