Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a reputable, multi-million turnover business based in Wilmslow on a permanent basis. As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing the nominal ledger to trial balance as well as supporting the wider finance function with key accounting tasks Key Responsibilities: Taking the nominal ledger to trial balance including prepayments and fixed assets Purchase ledger duties: processing invoices, getting invoices paid and authorised Reconciling recharge accounts Raising debit/credit notes Processing debit/credit notes received Updating the daily bank balances workbook Reconciling bank accounts on a weekly or monthly basis (dependent on size) Performing invoicing duties and credit control Making cheque/BACS/CHAPS payments Producing weekly reports for management (i.e. sales reports, month end reports, capex reports) Other ad hoc duties as requested Key Skills/Experience Required: Experience working in an accounts assistant role previously Strong verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Experience with large ERP systems - ideally Sage IT literate, ideally with intermediate MS Excel capability Able to work effectively both independently and as a team member This is a fantastic opportunity to join an extremely successful and reputable business that offer a great salary and benefits package and internal progression If you are interested in this role, please contact
