Great opportunity for a Senior Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper Your new company This small to medium sized manufacturing company based near to Birmingham Airport are looking for a Bookkeeper who is experienced in all round accounts to join the Finance team. Founded in 1970s this manufacturer has gone from strength to strength and has continued to invest in its people even to this day. Recently renovating a new office build by the airport for the staff. They manufacture for a number of large and well renowned businesses. Your new role To be suitable for this role you will need to have worked in all areas of Finance before dealing with all the transactional operations; sales ledger, purchase ledger, payment processing, liaising with customers to resolve queries. You would also be responsible for the monthly VAT returns and submissions, fixed asset depreciation, posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations among many other duties. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful they are looking for someone who is highly organised and dedicated. You will need to be able to work both quickly and accurately with a good eye for detail. You must be able to demonstrate that you can be a strong team player even when working remotely. You must be highly experienced in a Finance role previously and be honest, trustworthy and discreet.
