Job Title - Project Management Assistant - X2 Location - London Waterloo Rates - £241.65 LTD/Umbrella £210.99 PAYE In Scope of IR35 About the role / project: Network Rail are looking for 2 PMA's to come in and join the teams based in London Waterloo. There are a range of different projects which you can expect to get involved in. These are ranging from lower value Platform extensions to large scale £50 million congestion schemes. Predominately these are Civils based projects, so someone who has worked in a similar Rail, Construction, Engineering environment previously is a preference. On a day to day basis you will be supporting the Project Managers with various tasks based around the projects at hand. What you will do: Work as part of a project team, assisting to deliver projects to time, cost and quality through various phases in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Monitor and report programme and progress in accordance with project reporting systems and guidelines. Develop and integrate effective support systems to enable the Project Manager to manage and control change. Process the project resource requirements; People; Plant & Equipment; Materials; possession and isolation applications so that all applications and bookings are complete and submitted to the prescribed time scales. Monitor contractor performance indicators and provide periodic progress reports. Always support the Project Management team in providing a safe working environment during the execution of those projects under their responsibility. Manage generic and site-specific methods of working and supply risk assessments to agreed timescales. Monitor so that HSQE risk assessments have been carried out by the project team; contractor etc, and monitor compliance. Comply with the Investment Competence Framework. Your experience will include: Essential Some management experience including project management. Educated to HND/HNC or similar standard. HSQE awareness, issues and principles. Desirable Membership (or working towards membership of) the Association for Project Management. A degree or equivalent. Knowledge of safety, quality, environmental, commercial and financial aspects. Understanding of possession planning.
