Strategic FM Procurement Manager Permanent / Full Time Location: London Salary: Basic upto£70,000 plus BONUS Our client is a Global Leader in Real Estate and property management, they are seeking an experienced Facilities Procurement Specialist who has had exposure to bids or business development processes. Our client works with some of the largest companies in the world so the successful applicant will not only be interacting with Global Companies they will have to provide strategic procurement solutions to new business. As Strategic FM Procurement Manager you will Be an integral part of the Pre-Bid Development Process, taking part in all aspects of bid proposal, strategy design and procurement execution to assist multiple business units Provide the bid team with best-in-class procurement insights across FM Procurement with a specific focus on IFM Procurement Have a great deal of client interaction at C-Suite Level, demonstrating market know-how and gravitas to influence major decisions throughout the process from introduction to final proposals Take the lead on huge, global projects; designing and implementing Supply Chain strategies to win the business of some of the largest companies on the planet Lead and develop a small team who will support you on all pre-bid procurement work for the wide range of potential new clients Strategic FM Procurement Manager Required Background Strong strategic sourcing/category management skillset, ideally within FM Procurement, with an advanced proficiency across all aspects of the end to end procurement sphere End to end exposure to procurement bid proposals, contract negotiations, and business development is preferable Previous exposure to Blue-Chip, Corporate environments in previous role(s), ideally having shown evidence of progression and strong personal achievements Excellent communication skills with the gravitas and confidence to lead on large negotiations and scope strategies Degree MCIPS (preferred but not essential) Additional Duties And Responsibilities To lead and manage RFPs /quotations as required for relevant client entities Support the Category Managers and other relevant stakeholders on Transition and Mobilization projects. Savings - working with CMs and key suppliers to ensure that savings initiatives ideas are being driven locally to maximize savings impacts Ensure that the savings tracker across EMEA countries is kept up-to-date for the category so that we can demonstrate value add to our internal/external stakeholders Qualities check data and make recommendations on improvements to data quality/format Other duties and projects as assigned. Key Performance Measures Execution of category strategy through local/client related sourcing and implementation projects Business Saving targets - Individual as well as team targets Projects completed Supplier management and development -SLA, KPIs and action plans Compliance to internal & external audit bodies Client Satisfaction (internal stakeholders/360 evaluation) Supplier reduction targets Skills Highly developed proficiency in sourcing processes Strong stakeholder engagement skills Ability to analyze financial information, understand the business context and extract key facts to deliver improvement and opportunities Problem Solver - ability to identify and resolve issues with speed High efficiency - organizational skills Advanced negotiation skills Advanced presentational skill Excellent Inter-personal and communication skills Excellent PC skills, proficient in Office tools Competencies Demonstrated capability to manage a multiple sourcing projects in parallel and manage a spend portfolio of $20m to $50m Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a local/regional context with consideration of cultural differences and local requirements Competency in financial modelling, feasibility studies and total cost of ownership analysis Ability to analyse complex problems and generate solutions Exhibit advanced relationship- and conflict management capabilities in order to guide the company/supply partner relationships - ability to build trusting relationships Advanced knowledge of procurement legislation, tendering process, contract management and supplier relationship management Previous experience of conducting basic business process re-engineering exercises Proven track record of working in an environment where customer needs are variable, at short notice & the ability to assess opportunities at speed Customer driven - understands the customer needs that will support delivery of the business strategy and implements these where appropriate Experience 3 to 5 years in similar position Deep understanding of sourcing process and commercial supplier environment Sourcing procedures and protocols - particularly for services contracts Experience working with suppliers across the EMEA region and/or globally if required Development of mutually beneficial supplier relationships Qualifications Hold a University or related degree CIPS or Country Equivalent Medium degree of flexibility for local/regional travel (10-20%) if and when required
