Overview
Service Care Solutions are recruiting at the moment for a Short Breaks Devlopment Worker to work on behalf of Liverpool Council. The role is a part time position working 21 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday) is on a 6 month contract to be reviewed for extension following this time. The ideal candidate will have: •Experience working in a similar supportive role with children and families. •An enhanced DBS. •A full driver's license and access to their own vehicle. • Must be able to work Saturdays. • Experience with assessments is desirible. The pay rate is £11.14 hourly. Key features for this exciting role include: •This role involves supporting children and young people in both their homes as well as in a day centre. • To complete SEND Early Help and Familes Assessments. •To directly and support disabled children and young people to access universal services within their own communities. •To offer high quality support service aimed at supporting disabled children and young people to access universal services and targeted and specialist support within the short breaks menu. •To lead group activities and plan risk assessments.
