Overview
Calling all residential children`s workers We are currently recruiting for a complex needs children`s home based in Anfield in Liverpool for Residential Support Workers. The home you will be posted in provides care and support to children with complex health needs such as: tracheostomy`s, peg feeding, oxygen dependency etc. In this role you will be providing all aspects of care and support to the children including the complex medical care, emotional support and taking children to school and to other activities. For this role we are looking for someone who has: - Previous children`s residential experience - NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (desirable) - Full Driving License - Ability to drive minibus (you will have to be age 21 or above) (desirable The working hours for this role are 40 per week and shifts will be split over days or night shifts and will include some weekend work. We are looking for someone who has full flexibility to work any shift pattern for this role. The pay rate for this role starts at £8.40 per hour, rising to £9.30 on completion of your training modules. You will receive 28 days holidays which includes an allowance for bank holidays. If you work a bank holiday you will also receive time and a half pay. You will also be put through your NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (if you don`t already have this) and you will be trained on all aspects of the complex care and assessed by trained nurses.
