We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Support Worker . Here at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland we are dedicated to making a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Support Worker in a job share role specific to nightshift team management within the Cherry Tree Court Care Home service. As a Senior Support Worker, your duties could involve supporting and mentoring support staff, identify training needs, rota management as well as leading the health and safety management of a care home environment. There will also be practical support with the person`s routines and potentially with their personal care. Quality assurance is a priority task for the nightshift team and this involves ensuring that people we supports information is captured accurately and to a high standard along with organisational requirements in relation to health and safety, participation and communication. The contractual hours for this post will be 20 hours per week however and these will be worked in a condensed pattern of 4 nights shifts followed by 10 days off and then 3 shifts of nightshift to accommodate a job sharing role. For this fantastic opportunity, you will need at least 2 years previous experience of supporting individuals within care and already have or working towards you SVQ level 3. What matters most is that you have the right values and the right attitude and a flexible approach to supporting the service to provide the right levels of support to individuals who have a diagnosis of autism and complex needs.
