Horsham Based paraplanner role. Salary to £35,000 plus Pension Flexible benefits Discretionary Bonus Support towards Chartered Paraplanner qualification Department: Operations Job Title: Paraplanner Reports to: Operations Director Job Summary The role of the Paraplanner is to support the Financial Advisers when advising clients on financial strategies, plans and products, producing Suitability Reports for presentation and ensuring that the business is compliant with FCA and MiFID II regulations. Responsibilities & Duties Supporting the Financial Advisers in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow Updating the Financial Advisers and other staff with technical Information Preparation of Client Financial Plans and Suitability Reports Maintaining awareness of and compliance with FCA and other regulations Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs Thorough checking and submission of business to the appropriate network Ensuring that all regulatory and compliance standards are met consistently Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties as required Participation in client meetings with the Financial Advisers when required Providing support for the Financial Advisers allowing them to focus on Client relationships and meeting business targets The role holder will keep up to date with legislative and industry changes which affect the business and its clients. Skills & abilities Strong verbal and written communication IT literate, especially in MS Office A pleasant and confident telephone manner A positive attitude A team player A strong eye for detail Excellent organisational skills Qualifications & experience The jobholder will be expected to have attained a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or willing to work towards this and have 12 months experience in a paraplanning role.
