Overview

My client is a successful IFA Practice who is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join the team Duties as followed: Researching and writing suitability reports when required Supporting the paraplanners and able to cover their workload when they are out of office Developing sales proposition by spotting gaps in the ‘service offering’ and working on improvements Developing, training and providing guidance to team members, especially para planners. Reviewing template suitability reports and creating new ones in new product areas Updating product panels on a quarterly basis. Doing project work including in depth research and analysis and recommendations Due Diligence work on providers of certain products e.g. VCT and EIS. Dealing with clients’ technical queries and providing generic guidance in the absence of IFAs. Skills / Experience Required: Must have Level 4 diploma in financial planning Excellent planning skills including report-writing skills Good technical skills and technical knowledge of advice and product options Able to develop the para-planning team and supervise workloads Good understanding of compliance issues Time management and accuracy skills Good communication skills and ability to work on own initiative when required To work closely with Director and Compliance on developing new projects and updating existing processes as required
