Overview
Our client, a successful IFA practice based in Horsham is looking for a Paraplanner to join the team. Key Contributions and Outputs: Supporting the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s) in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives Supporting the Financial Planner(s) and Adviser(s) in preparing Client financial plans and suitability reports Developing and maintaining internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets Promoting the profile of the business within the profession and wider communities Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally. Key Requirements: To assist the Financial Planner in completing the Client Journey To provide research for the Financial Planner on all areas including pensions, investment & protection products Discuss client objectives with financial planner To prepare financial plans and recommendations To input and maintain the database service including transferring client review information onto Intelligent Office (IO) To arrange for up to date fund valuations to be received and keyed into IO in order to maintain client investment portfolios To deal with client queries To produce cash flow forecasts To liaise with product providers To ensure firm’s compliance procedures are adhered to at all times and regulatory standards met To work closely with the administrative team Ideally: Diploma qualified - our client will consider candidates working towards this qualification Experience in a Paraplanner role Excellent report writing skills Good technical knowledge Have the ability to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative You will have a flexible and adaptable attitude towards work You will have strong interpersonal skills Good time management skills The role holder may from time to time be required to undertake reasonable additional or other duties as are necessary to meet the needs of the business
