Cerise Healthcare are seeking Support Workers to work with our clients, suppliers of support to Young Adults at their service in Dunstable. Support Workers may be assigned key worker or floating support roles within the services and should be aware that there may be some lone working Tasks Support Workers may be expected to undertake include: To safeguard Young People - contribute to the provision of a safe, appropriate and stimulating environment To support Young People by showing an awareness of their individual interests and preferences Supporting the Unit Manager and other Senior Staff in day to day operations of supported housing units To be responsible for preparing support plans, weekly reports, risk assessments and other administrative tasks Undertaking all training, relevant to the needs of the service and the people you support Participating in individuals daily outings, activities, holiday or recreational pursuits when required Dealing with incidents appropriately and recording it via the required incident reports Ensuring that a thorough hand over is completed and recorded before leaving site The shift patterns in these services will include weekdays, weekends, split shifts, waking nights, sleep in's and bank holidays. There is also a fantastic opportunity to join our client on a Temp to Perm contract. Cerise Healthcare require all Support Workers to: Have 6 months experience in care Be able to work under their own initiative Be compassionate and understanding Have a good understanding of spoken and written English Be reliable and punctual Have recent UK based Health or Social Care experience.
