Overview

Seven Social Care are looking for a number of temporary Support Officers to work with Central Bedfordshire Council's Children with Disabilities Team. These positions are on a month by month basis and are for 20 hours per week. The hourly rate is £15.79 via an umbrella company. Key Responsibilities: To assess, plan and provide physical, social and emotional care for children with disabilities. To care for children and to contribute to the resolution of the problems and needs they present. To act decisively in organising their workload and directing others as required. To carry out the policies of the Social Services Department, promoting equality and anti discriminatory practice. To have an understanding of the Governing/Regulatory Bodies Requirements/Standards and the implementation of these within the service. To have a full understanding of your responsibility and Duty of Care to Young People Applicant Requirements: Qualifications: N/A. Experience: 2 years working within a similar role. Compliance: Current DBS check. Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently. Hours: 20 hours p/w.
