Overview

Our client, an established City based Accountancy practice, is seeking a General Ledger Clerk to join its team Working alongside a small team of Accountants, the responsibilities of the General Ledger Clerk will include: Bank reconciliations Balance sheet item reconciliations Handling the supplier and customer ledger Preparing management accounts Preparing management reporting Handling client queries VAT, CIS and payroll General Ledger Clerk - what we're looking for: At least 3 years' experience within a similar role with strong bookkeeping experience A part-qualified candidate - ACCA, ACA, AAT or CIMA (further study support will be offered post probation) Experience of managing VAT, CIS and payroll A background within practice is required - ideally, having worked with clients from multiple industry sectors The ability to work autonomously A strong working knowledge of Sage General Ledger Clerk - What's in it for you?
