As a PQ Financial Accountant do you want more excitement and learning in your role? Are you ready to join an exciting Engineering business. As a leading Global Automotive Manufacturer of systems and components we have recently invested in a brand-new state of the art fully equipped R&D facility in the UK. We're a true global leader in engineering research, development & innovation and now require a Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controller by working closely with the business and its project teams to ensure robust financial and commercial reporting is delivered. We're keen to hear from Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA Accountants who want to enjoy a range of different challenges and opportunities that we can provide you in comparison to more traditional management accounting positions. Your role will be to support the Financial Controller with the day to day accounting tasks. However, we're keen for someone to bring their commercial, forward thinking attitude to add value to a portfolio of high-profile projects. On a day to day basis you will: · Deliver monthly management accounts for the UK group of companies. · Work with a team of Project Managers to ensure £multi-million projects are managed from viability qualification through to completion. · Carry out financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting and commentaries. · Work closely with the Financial Controller to improve quality and accuracy of the financial and KPI reporting processes. · Work continuously to automate and develop new processes and reporting tools to streamline current working practices. · Assist in the preparation of the Financial Statements to support the Financial Accountant and Financial Controller with the Auditors. Who we are looking for: We would like to receive applications from commercially minded, outgoing Financial Accountants who want be part of a world class R&D facility and have the desire to make a genuine impact on process, reporting and improvements. This Financial Accountant role offers genuine autonomy Ideally, we would like you: · To be a Qualified or Part Qualified with Qualifications in CIMA, ACCA. ACA will be considered if you have previously worked in industry & commerce. · Have knowledge and understanding of accounting systems. We currently use Dynamics. · Posses strong Excel Skills. · Have good communication, inter-personal skills and have keen attention to detail. · To be a confident flexible, helpful and hard working team player who can adapt, and have an inherent desire to continually make improvements within the role. · Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
