Overview
Senior Data Engineer - AWS, Cloud, Python, SQL Crawley, West Sussex Senior Data Engineer required by a World Leading Digital Marketing and Data company based in their technical hub in Crawley, West Sussex (2-minute walk from the mainline station). The Senior Data Engineer will have strong Big Data and Data Lake solutions experience in a AWS cloud platform infrastructure, with particularly strong hands-on skills and experience in AWS Developer tools, Python programming and Advanced SQL. Some of your responsibilities will include: The development and maintenance of CRM database, Data Lake solutions in AWS infrastructure and of ELT / ETL processes to automate data feeds to the solution in batch and real-time. System integration of multiple products to build multichannel communications solutions to meet client requirements (for example Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Alteryx) General development and support programming involving investigation of code and data issues. Attending client meetings if required to discuss and demonstrate solutions at both a technical and business level Providing training to internal & external personnel What you will need Excellent experience with AWS developer tools Excellent database driven Python coding experience Advanced SQL knowledge Redshift & Redshift Spectrum Glue Step Functions Lambda Functions Athena No SQL / Non-Relational DB Big data experience, ETL / ELT and Data Engineering experience Previous experience of leading projects.
