This Software Engineer role will be working for an Engineering consultancy who have proven experience in running centre of excellence's around Europe. They work on long term employee development and are in the process of setting up their first UK office. This is an exciting time to join a large established organisation but at the same time work in a smaller office environment undergoing fast growth and development. We are after Engineers at all levels and can offer exciting career development opportunities for those looking to take their career further. You will need strong skills in software design, projects are varied but will typically draw on your user interface experience & will cover high and low level software. Projects are often customer led and bespoke so requirements can be varied although typically projects will primarily use ADA in a Real-time environment. Coronavirus update We are currently utilising a working from home policy so interviews may be conducted remotely or at an off-site office. Job offers can be made but start dates might be delayed for a short period of time. The positions range from Junior to Senior, level and seniority will be based on knowledge, capability and experience of the below; - ADA Programming experience (ADA95 or newer) - Linux application and driver development experience within an Embedded Linux Platform - Understanding of the full product development lifecycle within a secure environment. - Development of Software plans, requirements development and software verification. - Application of relevant standards - Integration into lifecycles using a range of lifecycle methodologies, including SCRUM. - Experience with customer support dealing with people face to face - Good time management skills and ability to work well under pressure - Willingness to work within a consultancy environment that may require some UK based travel Due to the nature of the work at this site, applicants must be capable of achieving SC level UK security clearance.
