The Hotel has a well established reputation for the standard of the food and service, the Head Chef has a strong Rosette and Michelin background, so standards are high He is looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie or a Chef de Partie with experience in pastry, who wants to learn new skills. The Head Chef is happy to train somebody into the section if they have basic pastry skills. You will be given plenty of opportunity to create and develop your own ideas, while working closely with the Head and Sous Chef, to develop existing menus, which include Ice Creams and Sorbets, Afternoon teas, a range of plated and buffet style desserts, as well as Sunday lunch style puddings Live In is available for this position but may suit applicants living in the Stamford, Peterborough, Bourne, Market Deeping, Oakham, Corby or possibly Grantham area with access to their own transport if required.
