Overview
HR Manager Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB8 1HR Salary: Up to £50k pa Contract: Full time, Permanent Hours: Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm At QCS we are well equipped for all employees to work remotely. Our systems are Cloud based allowing us, in normal conditions, to provide our Teams with Everyday Flex and therefore the transition to 100% remote working was seamless. We have taken our recruitment process online with video interviews and online assessments. The onboarding process is also managed remotely, including the provision of software and hardware. The QCS HR Manager will work strategically to embed great people practices that are aligned with, and enhance, our core values. The HR Manager suited to this opportunity is: Extroverted - Confident - Enthusiastic - Persuasive - Influential - Collaborative - Accountable - Driven They will: Be an experienced, people orientated and resilient HR professional with CIPD qualification or qualified by experience. Possess excellent people skills with capability and sensitivity to deal with confidential issues and difficult situations. Be dynamic and energetic person who is happy to be hands-on, across the business. Have a reputation for building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups; have an outgoing, poised and persuasive communication style. Be self-motivated with a desire to get tasks done on time & in full and an ability to motivate and energise those around them. Be well organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be a constant learner and maintain their current and in-depth knowledge of employment legislation. HR Manager accountabilities at QCS: Own the employee onboarding process delivering a best in class experience for new employees from the moment they accept a role with QCS. Plan, track and ensure delivery of departmental training and reviews in order to achieve long term goals. Responsible for ensuring we have a highly engaged workforce across the business including full ownership of the monthly team building, social events and Giving Back days. Ensure HR software is fully up to date and being utilized in the most efficient way such that manual processes are replaced by system automation. Support the embedding of the QCS values within the organisation. Responsible for the Employee Experiences processes, from monthly payroll documentation, on and off-boarding and benefits. Provide first line advice to managers and employees on HR related queries. Regular review of employee rewards and benefits to ensure they are competitive and attractive. Developing and maintaining up to date HR policies in line with current employment law. Report, understand and improve job role KPIs.
