Overview
IT Support Engineer The ideal candidate would have a few years experience in a related client-facing IT role. First and foremost we need someone who is self-motivated and able to take initiative to get tasks completed and add value to our clients. You would most likely have the ACSP exam qualification or equivalent experience, as well as working knowledge of Google’s G Suite. You will need to work effectively within a team environment, both taking direction from and offering support to colleagues. IT Support Engineer This role is for a Mid Level IT Engineer to be based between customer's sites and our helpdesk. The job will include deployments, networking, IT maintenance and support tasks, as well as managing relationships and customers. Responsibilities and Duties Mentoring the technical support ticketing system and competing support requests where appropriate. Escalating more complex support requests to senior engineers Providing telephone and email support to customers Engaging in training opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in key areas, such as desktop support, networking, deployment, back ups and operating systems Installing and configuring hardware and software components at customer sites Troubleshooting hardware and software issues The IT Engineer will need a full driving licence and car is required for travel. London and Home Counties.
