Job Title: Head of Operations (Part time) Location: SW7 Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 (pro-rata) Overview of the organisation: Founded in 31 this incredibly well established organisation have a passion for science. Roles and responsibilities: Reporting into the director of programmes/ Chief Executive, the main purpose of this role is to help deliver the mission by overseeing the effective delivery of the core services of which the organisation depends upon. Oversee the effective performance of IT, Finance, and HR functions Oversee improvements and investments that reduce errors or risk, improve efficiency, and/ or open up new income sources Run an annual budgeting process Manage health and safety, and support well-being in the workplace Procure legal advice and insurance as and where necessary Lead the implementation and on-going management of a new CRM/ grant management software Manage the core service budget to ensure this organisation always obtains maximum value The Peron: This position would suit someone with an accounting or operations background in the commercial, charity, or public sector. You must have the following… Experience of overseeing and improving organisation-wide processes or services Experience of managing a finance function Experience or knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation Experience of line management, team working, and collaboration Considerable experience of managing complex projects to achieve goals, on time, and on budget Can build a good working relationship with colleagues across the organisation including board members Have finance qualifications What the company are offering you: 27 days holiday (pro-rata for part-time employees) Up to 2 days paid leave per year for voluntary commitments Pension scheme Up to 5 days unpaid leave per year Interest-free loan for season ticket Home working Wednesdays
