Overview
As a leading global Investment Management group, this highly successful FTSE 250 business focuses on infrastructure and real estate to create real value for investors, project partners, communities and end users. Operating globally, with a head office in London, the organisation has doubled in size in the past two years and with c$10bn of equity capital in funds is enjoying ambitious expansion across all revenue streams. Its revenue is generated over many years so is well placed to whether the current global uncertainty. As a result, the company is recruiting for an AAT or ACCA part qualified accountant to join a key business division as an Assistant Accountant. Your brief includes: •Financial Reporting -Preparation & review of cash books & journals for quarterly management & statutory accounts -Quarterly & year end close processes including balance sheet reconciliations -Working to support preparation & audit of annual statutory accounts -Loan schedule maintenance to ensure principal & interest amounts are accurate & up to date -Supporting preparation of quarterly reporting packs for Board of Directors -Assisting with preparation of group budget •Cash Management & Treasury -Monitoring receipt of distributions from investments & providing cash analysis -Preparing & reviewing documentation to ensure payment runs are approved & processed -Updating cash flow forecasts & identifying funding requirements for different entities -Manage fund drawdowns & repayments -Assisting with the set-up of bank accounts & incorporating new companies -Executing FX trades & ensuring hedging is sufficient -Assisting with structuring acquisitions with debt & equity •Project work -Assisting with monitoring of acquisition expenditure & approval limits -Prepare AIFM reporting & compliance obligations -Prepare intra group recharges -Assisting with identification of efficiencies, process improvements & information requests As a part qualified AAT or ACCA accountant with proven hands on experience of financial reporting, month end accounting and Excel, you will be a bright, enthusiastic individual seeking to complete your professional qualifications and develop your career within a dynamic, international business.
