Overview
Senior Structural Engineer Cardiff £35,000-£45,000 AB303 This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a medium-sized, busy team in Cardiff. The team is looking for a bright and enthusiastic engineer who is keen to demonstrate further progression in their engineering career. Typical projects range across a variety of sectors, such as retail, commercial and healthcare, through to detailed design and construction monitoring. In order to be considered for this role as a Senior Structural Engineer, you will; Have a degree in civil or structural engineering Have an innate understanding of structural engineering Show excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrate experience of coaching and briefing CAD technicians and less experienced engineers Have self-motivation and be capable of supporting/working with an existing team What will be expected of the successful Senior Structural Engineer? You will input into fee proposals, including recourses and programme You will develop schemes designs as required by the Directors and Principal engineers You will liaise with other engineers and technicians to deliver projects within timescale, budget constraints and quality expectations As the team develops, you will mentor junior engineers, graduates and technicians You will begin to actively develop the Structures Division with a view to expand the client base The benefits for the successful candidate will include a competitive salary depending on experience, along with a flexible benefits package.
