Graduate Digital Electronics Engineer - Cambridge

Newton Colmore Consulting ,
Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Job Type: Full-time

Overview

Graduate Digital Electronics Engineer - Cambridge A Scientific Engineering company, based in Cambridgeshire, are currently looking for a Graduate Digital Electronics Engineer to work on the digital electronics design of complex technologies. We are looking for someone who has a real passion for electronics design and uses their inventive drive to create really unique pieces of work. Using curiosity to test new ideas, taking the initiative to explore opportunities and using fundamentals (learned during your degree) to continually improve complex technologies. As you would expect, we are looking for people who hold a degree from a leading electronics engineering or electronics design university, along with impressive A-Level results. If you also hold a Masters or PhD this would be advantageous, but not essential. You will also need to showcase your technical, problem-solving or engineering interests on your CV. You may think that your degree will showcase this, however as you will be competing with other graduates, if you have these hobbies showcased it will put you to the front of the queue ahead of someone who has not. Ideally, you will be able to discuss a number of times you have designed electronics during your degree or during any industry placements. We will also consider applications from people who are looking for their second role in industry, as you may have found your first role does not offer the training and development you may want in a Graduate Electronics Engineer role. Any Embedded Software knowledge you have will also be highly desirable, so please make sure it is mentioned on your CV. When successful, you will be rewarded with excellent industry specific training, a proven career path, an excellent salary and benefits package. Relocation assistance may also be offered on a case by case situation. I'm expecting a lot of interest in this role, so if you are interested I suggest you make an application sooner, rather than later. As soon as they find someone suitable for the role, the role will be gone. Newton Colmore Consulting is a specialist recruitment company within the Medical Devices, Scientific Engineering, Scientific Software, Robotics, Science, Electronics Design, New Product Design, Human Factors, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Field Service Engineering sectors.
