Overview

We are looking to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer for one of the UK`s leading R&D / Technology Development Companies. This is a job for a bright Engineer who will use Mechanical Engineering skills to develop innovative 'real world' products -often incorporating novel and disruptive technologies that transform the market. This is a highly varied role and will involve working on numerous projects simultaneously within multi-disciplinary teams -boredom will never be an issue Responsibilities: As a key contributor to an exceptional team, you will be responsible for solving challenging technical problems by creatively applying your broad range of skills. With direct client contact from the outset, you will be providing industry leaders with exceptional outcomes on projects. Working in a broad range of technologies and industries, you will rapidly build your technical and commercial knowledge and apply it to exciting new developments. Growing your responsibilities, you will quickly take ownership for delivering larger work programmes, applying your technical skills whilst also leading increasingly complex projects. Requirements A 1st class or Upper 2nd BEng/MEng degree from a leading university in mechanical engineering or related discipline. A very strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including analytical, theoretical, experimental and creative capabilities. Evidence of using your technical understanding to set the direction in technical projects A strong ability to communicate the value of your work confidently and authoritatively to senior business leaders across client organisations Extensive background in 3D CAD (ideally including Solidworks) Salary: Excellent Salary Bens Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer/Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Vacancy location: Cambridgeshire ( commutable from Cambridge, Royston, Newmarket, Huntingdon, Bishops Stortford, Stevenage, etc)
