This position has now been filled but please do still send your CV to us for other potential vacancies Rthirteen recruitment are working alongside a well-established, agricultural service and product supplier, who are looking to recruit a Service Manager for their team in Cambridge. This role will focus on the leadership of the service department, ensuring efficient working and department profitability. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous supervisory experience and a good knowledge of the industry to join a leading brand and further develop your career. Your duties will include: Efficient running of the service office. Dealing with both professional and domestic horticultural machinery repairs. Providing leadership and guidance to the service team staff. Ensuring department profitability. Profit/loss management and reporting. Dealing with staff related matters in a professional and confidential manner. Maintaining effective communications between management, customers and technicians. You will have/be: Good understanding of horticultural equipment would be advantageous. Proven management or supervisory experience would be highly desirable. Experience with profit/loss management and reporting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage workload. Methodical approach to work with strong problem solving skills. A desire to stretch and grow your team to be the best they can be. This is a full time, permanent role working 42.5 hours per week, 8am- 5:30pm Monday to Friday with 1-hour unpaid lunch. You may also be required to work additional hours during peak times. This role offers a competitive salary dependant on experience and an excellent benefits package.
