IT Sourcing Manager role for a Global Professional Service Firm based in Central London Your new company This Professional Services company are a Procurement Business Process Outsource (BPO) provider, offering bespoke services for clients globally. 2018 was a busy year for this organisation winning lots of new clients globally. They serve many financial services clients amongst other more exciting and varied industries spanning Europe, America, and APAC. You will join a wider sourcing team consisting of sourcing professionals covering, outsourcing & offshoring, HR, Professional Services, Travel, Market Data, Real Estate, FM, and Marketing. Your new role You will be responsible for end-to-end IT sourcing activity. This includes subcategories such as software, hardware, infrastructure, cloud, telecoms and data centres, so this is a fantastic opportunity if you want to broaden your skill-set and widen your knowledge. Day to day, you will lead sourcing initiatives, conduct tenders and conduct supplier selection as part of your role. You will carry out contract renegotiation's and have the ability to quickly understand business requirements to allow you to shape deals to meet business requirements. You will also contribute to shaping IT sourcing strategies with senior stakeholders across the business, you will gain exposure to a global leading financial services organisation with the ability to make a difference and add value. What you'll need to succeed Strong stakeholder engagement skills are very important as part of this role as you will be liaising with internal stakeholders as well as external clients. You will need to be able to confidently analyse and read contracts, reviewing, SLAs, T&Cs and clauses etc, with the focus on mitigating risk. Strong negotiation skills are a given and you will need to have had experience delivering value to previous organisations, in terms of cost, risk and complexity. With a role at this level, you need to have had previous experience with IT sourcing, with knowledge of the supplier market and an eye for detail for trends/innovations.
