Overview

Our fantastic international law firm client is currently looking for a Marketing & Business Development Adviser to join their team on a permanent basis, this role’s primary responsibility is to support the firm's Finance Practice group, including working with the M&BD managers to support the international debt capital markets, banking and business restructuring and insolvency practices, with a particular focus on London and New York. Main responsibilities will include acting as the lead for pitches, the pitch process and opportunities for the FPG, including writing proposals and credentials whilst ensuring best practice methodology is applied, writing and producing other materials, including updating a suite of standard materials for FPG, including client presentations, advising partners and teams on new business and cross-selling opportunities, and provide support on the development of our approach, team, proposition, research and supporting materials, entering and updating information in the firm-wide pitch management system, act as a point of contact on FPG experience/knowledge based on input from regional teams, undertaking and maintaining post-pitch feedback where appropriate, contributing to integrated campaigns to help raise our profile and awareness amongst our key target audience and advising on generating opportunities to meet potential clients, planning and advising on the implementation of marketing communications programmes, including organising client events (at times, in conjunction with our Events team), client facing material production, external conference attendance, website development etc., creating and maintaining mailing lists for newsletters and events, co-ordinating the production of client facing materials, including alerts and other thought leadership through our dedicated content and thought-leadership site, Engage, liaising with the authors, Knowledge team, relevant PAs and the InterAction team to ensure publication to deadline, identifying external practice and industry, as well as internal firm events in which the lawyers could participate to support their client and business development objectives, managing social media posts and monitoring performance and engagement data (LinkedIn, Twitter, Clearview Social). Candidates must have previous experience within a similar role within a law firm environment.
