Claims Adjuster (3-4 months FTC) London We are currently recruiting for a Claims Adjuster on behalf of our favourite Lloyd’s Market client; an established, extremely highly regarded, medium sized Lloyd’s Syndicate. This is a 3 or 4 month fixed term contract position, and the successful candidate will be helping to assist during a busy period. Role Summary The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of claims across a range of classes of business, but with a focus on US PI claims across a variety of professions. The role will involve management from first notification to conclusion, as well as regular discussion with the global Claims and Underwriting teams, and maintaining a reputation as a market leading Claims team. Responsibilities Handle claims arising from a variety of classes of business, with a focus on US PI and/or GL, dependent on experience. Ensure claims systems are kept up to date. Requirements Experience in a similar role, with a bias towards US jurisdictions. Knowledge of ECF/IMR and core business systems - Outlook, Word, Excel. Knowledge of coverage. Team player, with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
