Job Introduction We are looking for a highly motivated team leader to join our finance department in Blackpool. To provide leadership and management in our friendly, well established Accounts Payable teams. You must have a flexible approach to work to support your team, management and colleagues to ensure daily deadlines are met. Responsibilities to include: Provide support to your team and Finance Management. To ensure that the purchase ledger correctly reflects the outstanding liabilities of the company by accurately posting the invoices Provide assistance to the Management Accountant during month end and year end To ensure timely and accurate payment of company’s liabilities Ensure supplier reconciliations are up to date To raise commission invoices and chasing for payments To ensure the supplier payment run is completed in a timely fashion Ensure Other Income is billed accurately and promptly Day to day management of the teams including setting objectives , balance scorecards and performance reviews Ensure to provide supporting evidence to external auditors Providing insight into Accounts Payable process to drive continual process improvement Ensure the teams meet their KPI performance targets Comply with all company rules and procedures especially those relating to Health and Safety, FSA compliance and data protection with an obligation to remain informed and up-to-date on all such matters.
