The Company Overview: Butler Rose have partnered with a well-established and award winning organisation in the Blackpool area to recruit for an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. With a strong emphasis on staff development, training and well-being, my Client focus on the service they offer their customers and making a difference to the lives of others. Your new role as the Accounts Assistant : To post all authorised Purchase invoices To ensure accuracy of Financial Statements in relation to coding of all transactions ie Purchase and Sales invoices processed, petty cash etc. To raise queries with Heads of Department and their deputies if invoices are coded or authorised inappropriately by the Approver To prepare weekly supplier payment runs To review Supplier Statements and chase for known missing invoices on a weekly basis To review Aged Creditors on a monthly basis and follow processes to clear overdue balances To review outstanding queries on a weekly basis To process Expenses and Mileage claims To file invoices to match posting references in SAGE 200 To liaise with Accounts Manager on any outstanding issues and issues arising from postings on a daily basis To raise Sales Invoices and post receipts To post any credit card invoices To administer petty cash To post petty cash vouchers The Experience & Qualifications Required: The successful Candidate shall have at least 2 years experience carrying out the role of an Accounts Assistant or similar position. You will ideally have experience of using Sage, however, this is NOT essential. You shall be astute, have attention to detail and possess intermediate Excel skills i.e Pivot tables and VLookups Your Reward & The Package On Offer : As the Accounts Assistant you shall be given the relevant training by an experienced Finance Manager. You will have the opportunity to work for a minimum of 4 months, but there is a view for this contract to be extended. Who Are Butler Rose?
