Overview
Piers Meadows Recruitment are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work with our client in Nottingham. Our contact is currently looking to recruit one experienced member of staff. Job Description: Experience at Band 6 level, or strong equivalent overseas experience. Assessment of needs for disabled children, young people and adults. Assessment and provision of equipment and adaptations within the home environment. Risk assessment and provision of moving and handling equipment and plans. Postural management assessments and provision of specialist seating. Assessment for major adaptations and involvement in the planning of these to ensure current and future needs are met. This team completes a lot of work in partnership with the Whole Life Disability service, to support children with long term physical and sensory disabilities. This role is for full time hours and the role is ongoing. The client has said that they can be flexible on the hours offered for the right candidate.
