Overview

Standalone Payroll Officer/Manager required for an exciting permanent opportunity to work for a reputable business based in Wavertree . Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll for approximately 1000 employees. You will be responsible for processing all starters and leavers, processing adjustments and changes to employee details, managing the pension scheme, ensuring statutory payments are made, updating and maintaining tax codes, payroll forecasting, reporting, reconciliations, and complex query resolution. The ideal candidate will have had experience in a busy standalone position. You must be confident in processing end-to-end payroll, and will have a strong working knowledge of current payroll legislation. You will have experience in the use of Sage 50 Payroll, and will have advanced excel skills. Ideally, you will be confident in using a Time and Attendance System, and will have experience in processing pensions. You will have exceptional time management skills, and will be self-motivated with the ability to work without supervision. You will have fantastic interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
