Overview
Contract Requirement Decontamination Lead Venn Group are currently working with a busy NHS organisation in the South East who are looking for an experienced Decontamination Lead on an interim basis. Daily Rate : £240 - £260 Duration : 3 months The successful Decontamination Lead will be responsible for: Develop a self-assessment against Health Technical Memoranda for Decontamination in Healthcare settings Work around compliance with the health and social care act; code of practice for the prevention and control of infections Help to develop an organisation wide action plan to underpin a work plan which will capture the gaps identified in the self-assessment Shaping infection control and ensuring implementation of infection control policy into practice Write policy and review policies in place, take these through the policy approval process. Conduct audits, write reports and assist staff with action plan formulation Deliver training on decontamination; develop training materials, plan sessions, evaluation the deliver and effectiveness of these Monitor incidents and investigate these fully To be responsible for all matters relating to decontamination within the organisation and provide expert advice relating to associated departments of the organisation and external bodies about Decontamination It is essential that the Decontamination Lead has: A Decontamination Qualification Previous NHS experience To apply for this role or to find out about other Healthcare Risk & Governance jobs, please contact Ben Bruce-Smith or Natalie Murton on the London Healthcare Risk and Governance Recruitment team on or
