Overview

I am currently recruiting for an Engagement Worker to support adult males with personality disorder who have recently been released from prison, secure health settings or moving on from Approved Premises This position involves working in a supported housing accommodation site based in Redbridge which provides specialist services and support to offenders and those involved within the criminal justice system. Service users have been assessed as being high risk of re-offending. The service engages in the risk management, support treatment and therapies and the delivery of interventions in order to reduce re-offending and promote pro-social behaviour. The purpose of the Engagement Worker role is to support service users with Personality Disorder and complex mental health conditions on a 1:1 basis and manage their mental health and well-being. This may involve challenging and aggressive behaviours. You will also inspire and motivate residents to develop the skills necessary to build confidence and move into independent living. The hours for this role are 37.5 per week on a shift pattern rotation of 08:00-16:00 and 13:30-21:30. The salary for this role is £22,865.
