Overview
Working for a global supplier of automated warehouse and supply chain logistics for the automotive, aerospace and general manufacturing industry, currently require a Software Engineer who will design and develop software solutions for automated warehouse operations. They will need to have experience using Java Enterprise Systems (Java EE, J2EE, Jakarta EE) Commutable from: Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Redditch, Alcester, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Kidderminster Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 55,000 p.a. Benefits (Pension, Healthcare, Overtime) The Role The successful Software Engineer deliver a defined part of the customers project, from delivery through to testing and integration. They will work closely with the customer to ensure they are kept up to date with the project design and development process. They will proactively offer solutions to technical problems, fully document all requirements and ensure all work is completed to the company's high standards. The Person The successful Software Engineer will be fully conversant with Java Enterprise Edition. They will also have an understanding and practical knowledge of SQL Programming. They are expected to be degree qualified in computing or a related subject. Experience in a commercial software development environment is essential and experience within the supply chain or logistics is highly desirable.
