Site Manager London Based – Further Travel Occasionally £30,000 to £40,000 DOE Holidays Pension Career Development Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00 Site Manager required for an industry leading manufacturer based in London who work closely with the arts. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager, or someone from an arts industry background looking to step up in their career within a growing and developing company. This company specialise in fabricating products for cultural institutions and work with high end clientele. To apply for this role you can come from ANY construction background however candidates who have technical/carpentry experience in industries such as museums, theatres and galleries are encouraged to apply. You will have proven managerial experience but this can be from any background such as traditional carpentry, mechanical, electrical etc. Specific qualifications are not required but will be advantageous. The successful Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of preconstructed structures at the client’s site. These structures will be largely fabricated within the company’s workshop based in London prior to this and you will then ensure they are built and assembled in accordance to draughts that will be provided to you. You will be responsible for overseeing between 5-10 company employees and additional subcontractors where required. This will involve carpenters, welders etc. As well as overseeing the team, you will also play a key role in ensuring health and safety procedures are carried out through carrying out risk assessments whilst at site. You will spend approximately 90% of your time working around the London area, however, there is scope to work further afield. The company have exciting international projects lined up for the coming year which you can be a key part of. For any work outside of the M25 you will be paid expenses for travel and stay away.
