Credit Risk Analyst Chester £33,500 A fast growing UK lender is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst with a good command of SAS to join their fast paced Credit Risk Analytics function. The learning opportunities on offer here simply can't be matched - you will gain exposure to the full Credit Risk life-cycle, with responsibilities covering Credit Risk Modelling (Scorecards), Reporting, Portfolio Analytics and Credit Strategy. What's more you'll get a say in which projects you work on THE BUSINESS: A growing business with a small, bright Credit Risk Analytics team who move fast and are constantly challenged with engaging data-driven projects including end to end Scorecard builds, developing and optimising Credit Strategies and designing Reporting suites. They have a relaxed, informal and friendly environment with a collaborative, cross functional approach to problem solving. 2 days per week working form home on offer if needed, which shows the relaxed management style. THE ROLE: Provide analytical insights and make strategic recommendations for the full Credit Risk life-cycle Developing Credit Risk Scorecards (application and behavioural) Fulfil MI duties, providing timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reports Develop and monitor Credit Risk Scorecards and other models Perform analysis to support Credit Risk strategy, policy, model and process development YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience within an Analytical role using SAS on a daily basis Ability to analyse, extract and manipulate data using computer software Knowledge or enthusiasm/interest in Credit Risk Strong University degree in a numerate discipline KEYWORDS: SAS, CREDIT RISK, ANALYST, ANALYTICS, PORTFOLIO, MODELS, SCORECARDS, DATA, SQL, ANALYTICS, DECISION SCIENCE
