Overview
I am currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. This is working for an Accountancy Practice based in East London close to Woodford Station. Sector: Accountancy Client Details My client is one of the leader Accountancy practice specialised in international companies as well as start-ups, based in East London. They were established couple of years ago and since have grown consistently year on year. They are now looking to hire an Assistant Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis. This will be an initial temporary assignment for 6 months. The role will be based in their offices in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast paced, dynamic working environment. Description Assistant Accountant, East London Roles and Duties Creating weekly cash forecasts. Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Preparing accruals and prepayments. Carrying out bank reconciliations Multiple currencies Maintaining bank transactions and managing payments. Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding payment queries. Preparing and submitting VAT returns. Managing payroll company to ensure timely payslips generated. Posting bitcoin / cryptocurrency transactions. Posting invoices to accounting systems. Profile The successful candidate MUST be immediately available and can interview / start at short notice. Ideal Candidate has studied Accountancy at College or School with an A level or equivalent and is looking to complete the AAT qualification. Organised with keen attention to detail is essential. Self-motivated and confident. Outgoing and enthusiastic. Willing to learn and keen to develop with a huge scope for progression. Possess management aspirations. Excellent communication and IT skills Able to work in an unpredictable environment; can deal with unplanned changes to tasks and workloads and successfully handle several tasks at any one time. Knowledge cryptocurrencies is desired, but not required. Job Offer The successful candidate will be paid between £12-13 per hour depending on experience.
