Overview
Payroll Manager Bodmin £25K Our client is a resilient and growing business, who is looking for a payroll manager to be their sole payroll person for the company, managing a weekly and monthly payroll of over 200 staff. You will need payroll experience, and up to date working payroll knowledge. This is a fantastic company to work for with a great team culture and brand. The role includes: Maintenance and checking of daily time and attendance system Maintenance of employee records on the Payroll / HR system Maintenance of wage records for employees Calculations of pay and deductions Ensuring correct and accurate processing of payroll data Record absences and produce holiday cards / entitlements for employees Check and produce payslips and P45's. Answer earnings enquiries Process hourly paid starters and leavers Completion of statutory and legal forms Production of weekly and monthly reports for senior management Salaried payroll and support administering the health-care scheme Production of pension figures, starters and leavers for HDA on a weekly and monthly basis. Process Year End on Select Pay and provide P60's The successful candidate will have a good eye for detail, good team working and communication skills and be available to start imminently. A CIPP qualification would be desirable but not essential. There are good transport links available to our client, but if you are coming from Plymouth, St Austell or Launceston you will need to drive.
