Mechanical Design Engineer - Robotics/ Automation / Fluids
Overview
Based in Cambridge this is a fantastic new opportunity to work with a company developing innovative and ground breaking medical technology. The Mechanical Design Engineer will join a fast-paced team, in a hands on role working with experimental design, build, test and ongoing support of automation, electro-mechanical and robotic platforms. The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree, Masters or PhD, preferably with a some industrial / commercial experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer, although excellent graduates will be considered. Other areas of interest include: A good understanding of mechanics and physics Experience in Fluids (Microfluidics), Automation or Robotics A knowledge of CAD, particularly Solidworks, although other packages are considered Thermal knowledge is also of interest.
