Mechanical Engineer - Scientific Instrumentation - Cambridge - Start-Up Company A well-funded Scientific Instrumentation Start-Up company are currently looking for a couple of Mechanical Engineers who can help with the continued development of products for a number of fields in the scientific and medical devices sectors. This company will continually develop different instruments for the scientific and medical devices sector, due to this we are ideally looking for a Mechanical Engineer who has developed their own ideas from scratch and taken it through to production, specifically in the scientific, diagnostics, medical devices or another highly regulated field. Due to the complex nature of this work, it is expected that you would have a degree within a scientific, physics or engineering field. A PhD is not essential but would be advantageous. When we mention instrumentation, we are talking about very complex technologies like microfluidics, diagnostics, mechatronics or other complex fields. You will be using SolidWorks daily, current experience using SolidWorks is essential in this role.
