About The Role As our SAP Technical Assurance Lead you`ll be responsible for specialist technical expertise and assurance of the entire SAP centric and cloud-based IT estate, which is integrated with best of breed solutions like Click Software, ESRI, GIS and IBM Mobility Platform. You`ll be the go to ‘trusted advisor’ to a range of stakeholders and you`ll provide in depth knowledge on how the SAP solution and integration operates, ensuring any change balances functional fit, cost, service, quality and systems management requirements. Key accountabilities of the SAP Technical Assurance Lead will include: • Overseeing the efficient operation of services, including SAP and best of breed apps, and ensuring the transformation journey is progressed with the minimal disruption to service • Providing guidance and assurance in the periodic activities including patching, upgrades (i.e. HRSP) and data migrations • Accountable for driving the resolution of complex technical issues with service providers including SAP and AWS • Accountable for periodic system performance and usage reviews, providing insights to service management on the early watch information and trends • Ensuring the IT solution estate performs to business SLA’s and coordinate service integrators in meeting the SLAs • Accountable for technical change and environment management, including transport management and the optimum use of SAP estate • Supporting the development and implementation of maintenance policies ensuring that any subsequent maintenance plans are aligned to infrastructure lifecycles • Providing technical liaison with IT services providers and SMI, delivering solutions to Cadent • Providing consultancy for Procurement and Vendor/Supplier Management for technical services. • Actively participating in major incidents and problem management activities in liaison with IT services providers • Making sure maintenance plans are developed, submitted and implemented at both a strategic and tactical level • Working in conjunction with Architecture, Service Assurance and IT Services Providers to ensure the best fit for Cadent • Providing input into Service Review Boards as required by the Service Assurance team to ensure that customer satisfaction scorecard activities are effectively addressed • Supporting the creation and management of the overall vision, strategy, and roadmaps for the Service Delivery organisation to support the overall IS strategy and the business • Providing guidance and support to the Architecture team • Contributing to the delivery of IT service improvement projects / strategic initiatives as required About You You’ll possess the following qualifications, skills and experience: • Deep technical knowledge of SAP architecture and best practices • SAP certification preferred i.e. Technology associate in Netweaver technologies. • Strong experience of designing and running complex SAP solutions, preferably EAM based solutions • In depth expertise of one or more functional areas in SAP, preferably SAP Plant Maintenance, and general knowledge of business process integration is desired. SAP certification preferred, i.e. TERP10 • Experience of running SAP and complex solutions in AWS cloud platform. AWS solution architect certification would be an asset. • Understanding of service delivery processes using SAP Solution Manager • Experience of implementing SAP solutions with best of breed solutions like ESRI GIS for asset management and CLICK Solutions for Scheduling. • Extensive IT technical leadership and experience of leading multi-vendor teams. • Experience of implementation/migration to S/4 HANA solutions and desire to keep updated with new technologies. • Experience of configuring, implementing, developing and supporting complex solutions with a value in excess of £1m • Ideally educated to degree level in a computing or science related discipline or holds a professional qualification/experience. • Good stakeholder management and influencing skills with colleagues, partners / vendors & project sponsors • Experienced in impact analysis and technical risk assessment • Experienced in driving colleague/customer results through management of indirect resources. • Deep Technical Knowledge of the following technologies: o SAP ECC6 o S/4HANA & BW/4HANA o SAP Portal & SAP CRM o SAP Gateway, SAP PI, JCAPS, SAP CPI SAP PO o SAP BOBJ, BPM, GRC o Integration with business apps incl. ESRI Locator Hub, ArcFM, GIS, Click, Syclo WM • Awareness knowledge across the following areas: o Databases (HANA/Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server) o Public Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure) o Monitoring technologies (Nimsoft/Dynatrace/AWS CloudWatch) o SaaS Based applications and integration i.e. Click FSE, SAP Ariba, Concur, Success Factors.
