Job Description
Technical Team Leader Coventry A new position has arisen for a Barclays Team Leader within our Advocacy business to lead the team of around 10-15 direct reports, providing clear business direction and setting a high performance culture. As the Team Leader you will be accountable for delivery of a world class client experience and to be a point of referral for the team, using coaching to achieve improved performance and development. What will you be doing? You will be leading the client relations team within our Advocacy team to manage work streams, handle complex casework and resolve customer complaints Proactively engage with business on process improvements and change Maintain and build effective relationships both internally and externally Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements Overseeing, developing and leading a team of 10 - 15 staff members, ensuring a high performance culture. What we're looking for: Knowledge of Life Insurance, Pension and Investment products and the regulated Financial Services environment Experience of the complaints lifecycle, ideally in the financial service industry Background of leading, developing and mentoring staff Excellent communication skills, with the ability to flex to the business need Skills that will help you in the role: You should have strong interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders Strong leadership skills, having a demonstrable track record of managing a team A customer focused approach Where will you be working?
